Ginko Leaves - Tokyo in December
A quick trip to Tokyo for strategic discussions at the end of the year. Arriving one day early, I was able to
make an enjoyable walk through the gardens of the Imperial Palace in the golden sunlight of late Autumn.
Although most leaves in Belgium were long gone, in Tokyo the sidewalks were littered with the golden leaves
of ginko trees. A beautiful gilding that was tidily swept up before business could begin Monday morning.

Through incredible luck (and Platinum Status) I was upgraded into First Class. The next day I enjoyed first class views of the foliage in the Palace grounds.
Nationalists protesting foreign influence, next to Christmas decorations and the cold gaze of Cameron Diaz. Later Fuji appeared behind the towers of Akasaka.
The great door of the Otemon Gate led to the Otemachi business district, littered with the golden leaves of ginko trees, carpeting the sidewalk.
In Tokyo space is the ultimate luxury. Even more luxurious is a large garden, filled with beautiful trees scattered among the ancient pavilions.
