New England 2007
My Uncle Bill and Aunt Ginny were extremely helpful to our family during my mother's illness in the beginning
of the summer. It was nice to be able to spend a happier time with them just a few months later, visiting
(with Dad) for a week before heading down east to Maine just the two of us. Great visits in Boston, a daytrip
to Provincetown, and a week on the beaches of Ogunquit, Old Orchard and Kennebunkport Maine. Pass the
lobster please.

Visiting southern Maine from our base in Ogunquit. Lobster every day (our favourite Lobster Pound was Nunan's in Kennebunkport). We got to
see Lorenzo Lamas starring in an excellent production of "The King and I" at the Ogunquit Playhouse.
Historic Boston, from Paul Revere to Italian Catholic churches in the North End, to traditional clam chowder restaurants down town.
Santa goes New England in P-Town. More elegant sites at the Atheneum, and the glass flowers and beautiful paintings at the Harvard museums.
Daytrip to Provincetown. My award-winning photo, carnival in P-Town, T-shirts that fit the liberal context and attitude of Massachussetts.
With Ginny in front of City Hall. Touristic pint at Cheers. Grave of Crispic Attucks (Black Revolutionary martyr), historic homes in Cambridge.
Trading with the world from Salem, including the Northwest Coast. Sea, sand, sun and lots of Québecers on Old Orchard Beach, Maine.
